Reflective

This year I learned a lot in English. I learned about process writing and how it is helpful to pass on information using steps in the right way so in the future if you need someone to do something for you it’ll be clear and easy for them to do. We also had lots of practice tests, these tests helped us, because we got used to test conditions which came useful in the progress test. In writing the most difficult part is organizing but I improved in that because know I learned how to plan more before writing. In this class I became successful because of the help we got from the teacher and the hard work we were given to do. Narrative is a bit like free writing but a process is a way to teach someone how to do something they all need thought and organizing. I will use these styles in my job and in future writings so it is delivered as professional work.

Arabic vs. English

Language is a way of communication between any two people who ate aware of the same language. Languages could divide people into groups but also can make them closer. They are highly practiced around the world also. In this essay I will compare and contrast both languages.

In comparison, Arabic and English are both languages practiced in HCT. There are lessons for both languages. The two languages are very important to get jobs in the future. Arabic and English both have rules that have to be followed when writing and speaking the language.

In contrast, for Arabic speaking students, it’s easier to learn English than for English speaking students to learn Arabic. English is counted to be more internationally recognized language than Arabic. Arabic language has more grammar rules then English. Arabic poetry has balancing rules but English poems could be written freely.

In my point of view both languages are very important for me, because the more languages you know the more you could communicate and learn. Reading I prefer to read English but speaking I prefer Arabic.

In or Out

Higher education is a very important aspect in life nowadays. People could live and eat without higher education but can’t develop and reach success to its highest level. Higher education, a thought floating in students minds as soon as they enter there last stages of high school. The big question is always, should I study in my country or should I study abroad? In this essay I will compare and contrast between the two places.

In comparison, studying abroad and in your country both offer good education. Ministry of education will follow both students weather they are studying outside or inside the country. Allowances are given to students if they are sponsored, and students could be sponsored both ways. Students outside and inside the country could find jobs as they study.

In contrast, people in the country are more supported by family. People in their country know the rules and know how things work and are aware with the law and culture. A person outside will mix with other cultures, thus become more intellectual. A person who is studying abroad will know how to manage his own money.

In my point of view I prefer to study in my country. I want that because I have a good life here and I know my way around. I also don’t want any family event go by and I’m not here with them. I also think that I could produce and achieve more when I’m close to my family.

Extracting Oil

Have you ever wondered about the process and the steps that are involved in extracting oil? In this essay I will try to educate you, about the steps oil goes through before it gets in your car.

First, oil is located using lots of different methods; this step could take time, because the places should also be evaluated before digging starts. Second, the oil is pumped through pipelines to reach one destination. Then, the oil is stored in tanks. After, the oil is refined into many different products like petrol, and plastic. Later, petrol is stored in tanks to be transported. After, the oil has been transported, it is sent to different petrol stations via pipelines. Petrol is then stored in underground tanks, that endure heat and protects it till it’s ready to be pumped in cars.

Last step, is to fill your car up, and leave for a nice holiday with your family. Remember to take enough money because oil is expensive, but now having a wife cost’s you much more so its better if you will not take her on this family vacation.

Fresh Roads (process)

We are lucky that, unlike our ancestors, we have roads. Before it could take double the amount of time to reach one area, even if you have a car. In this essay I will tell you how modern roads are planned and built.

First, information is collected on the number of vehicles that are using the existing roads in the area you want to develop. Then, the route is planned, considering size and direction of the new road. When the plan is done it is submitted to relevant authorities to get approval. After the plan is approved, trees, and shrubs are cleared using a bulldozer. Later on, after clearing, and before putting the concrete, the road is flattened before the surface is done. Then, lane markers, road signs and traffic signals that can be seen during day and night are added. Finally, before opening the road, it is checked for defects.

In conclusion, we have to be thankful as we can reach any place in our country smoothly and safely, using the new roads built with this procedure.

How To Live a Healthy Day

With obesity rates rising everywhere, and diseases spreading across the world, we have to change our habits, so we can avoid disease and obesity. A healthy body is always strong enough, and has a better chance of winning the battle.

The first step towards a healthy body is having dinner before the sun sets, and sleeping at an early hour. The time range of sleeping should not be earlier than 7pm and not later than 10pm. Second step is to wake up at an early hour each morning, and set time for a good morning exercise. That step will inject you with energy, thus you will be focused and will have more endurance for work or for learning. After a good exercise you should get a full, balanced breakfast, which includes a good amount of protein, carbs, calcium, and a cup of orange juice, which is the best source of vitamin C. During the early hours of work you have to get a good mug of decaf coffee, research have shown that coffee increases your metabolic rate for the whole day. Next, during work, instead of sending someone to do your work, you should do your own work, and do your own work, youll move more, less body problems. After work, comes lunch time, you have to eat a small portion of carbs and more of protein and veggies, water will be a suitable bevarge. In between lunch and dinner a cup of fruit youghart or a plate of fresh fruit would be fantastic. Finally, for dinner, its better not to eat, but if you cant sleep unless u eat, a bowl of cereal or half of a chicken breast will be acceptable.

These habits should lead you to a healthy life, and I guarantee you that. As an old arab scholar says:” The healthy mind is in a healthy body”.

My Best Summer Vacation

I’ve been to Brisbane, London, Austria, Turkey, and a bunch of other countries. I enjoyed all these places; but thre was something special about my trip to Bonn in Germany that was not like any other trip. My grandfather was still living then and we saw him everyday.

That summer was magical, because all my cousins were there, and all my uncles and aunts. We all lived in the same hotel which made this trip a bit different than other trips. We also made lots of new friends there, because that hotel had lots of other Emiratis. We used to walk around the small town we were in everyday, we got used to that place, it became like home but in Germany. I also can’t forget the Donner (shawarma) there, it’s a rich sandwich not like the one they do here. I also can’t forget the Italian pizza shop there, I never ate something that is as good as that pizza.

This trip was my favorite trip, because my grandfather was still alive back then, and I had almost all my cousins aunts and uncles at the same time in the same place. I also liked how comfortable Bonn was and especially the town we were in.
